We offer private and small
group lessons in the following disciplines from beginner
to advanced. Lessons with Hartmeyer lesson horses are
available as well as taking lessons on your own horse(s).

Every person entering the barn must have a
signed waiver on file in the office. Every rider taking
a lesson must be a minimum of 7 years old and wear an
approved helmet while on the horse.
Every horse entering the barn must have current
vaccinations and if out of state a Coggins is required,
too.
Hour lessons include 10 minutes of tacking
up the horse, 40 minutes of riding time and 10 minutes
of untacking the horse. Learning horse care and how
to handle a horse are very important parts of the lesson.
Half hour lessons are shortened to 5 minutes
of tacking up, 20 minutes of riding and 5 minutes of
untacking the horse.
