Owners, Jane and Daydn Ginther have had numerous Champions and have spent a lifetime with Saddlebred horses. Daydn also successfully showed Hunters/Jumpers. Manager, Jane Gadbury, (Jane II), shows Arabian horses and has had Regional and National Champions.

The Hartmeyer family was introduced to the world of Saddlebred Show Horses by the late Bob Whitney, (later renown in the Morgan Horse World). Hartmeyer Stable, a state-of-the-art facility with 56 stalls, 4 tack rooms, large indoor and outdoor arenas and a spacious lounge was built in 1970 by John Hartmeyer, Jane Ginther’s father. Jane soon began filling the lounge with horse care products and Hartmeyer Saddlery was born. Trainers Ellis Waggoner, Zel Corkern and Jim Taylor trained many fine horses for the Hartmeyer family and their friends. It was also the home of Ball State University Equestrian Team for 35 years.

In the past Hartmeyer distributed their signature “bareback” catalogs. Now, with the advent of E-Commerce Stores, Hartmeyer is focusing on making www.hartmeyer.com the most complete and easy to use site in the industry.
